Inspired by the wacky adventures of  Peggy Parish's Amelia Bedelia, Sunny Smiles is about a sweet young girl on the cusp of her 10th birthday determined to prove how grown up she is. With the help of her stuffed animals, her plants, and her older sister, Sunny completes her chores and earns the title of "Apprentice Horticulturist."
